Collecting contemporary art is something I’ve been doing since June 4th, 2008. The first twelve months have been documented  in this blog under the heading of “The Upcoming Collector” (you can still read that story here –>link).

Today, my collection includes works by Karin Sander, Lasse Schmidt Hansen, Kris Martin, Troels Carlsen, Rudolf Reiber, Frank Kozik and David Horvitz as well as editions by Jonathan Monk, Fiona Banner and others.

I’m drawn to artworks dealing with literature and the medium of the book as a physical object. I’m attracted by works expressing and reworking painstaking,
sometimes archaic processes. I love works that have something tiny about them.
And works that blow my mind, conceptually speaking.
